Selfish Love

I want to love someone so deeply that I won’t let him go,

I want to hold on to that person,

I want to give my all,

And in return, all I want is that person to cherish it,

I don’t want every second of his,

Yet I want him with me until we grow old,

All I want is to treasure every jiff of togetherness,

Just with the pure truth that I have someone who is mine no matter what,

Something that’s beyond the distance we live in,

Or the days we go communication less,

Something that’s beyond our differences,

Or despite of all circumstances we go through, 

 I want him to be mine & me to be his,

Even though it’s just for a while, or for the lifetime-

Only if we have enough courage to bear it-

With the resolution of “Love” to share and pour on one another!
